A bioclimatic pergola for a more versatile terrace
A bioclimatic pergola is an aluminium pergola with motorised rotating roof louvres. Unlike a fixed patio cover, it can be adjusted according to the weather, time of day and intended use.
Open louvres allow sunlight and fresh air into the space. Partially open louvres provide shade while maintaining ventilation. Closed louvres help protect the covered area from direct sunlight and rain, while water is directed into the integrated gutters.

Motorised adjustable louvres
Adjust the roof according to the sun, wind and desired amount of shade. Larger models have two roof sections powered by two electric motors.
Durable aluminium construction
The dark-grey powder-coated aluminium structure is designed for outdoor use, requires little maintenance and complements contemporary architecture.
Integrated LED lighting
LED lighting positioned along the gutters creates a comfortable atmosphere and allows the terrace to be used after sunset.
Integrated rainwater drainage
When the louvres are closed, rainwater is collected by the perimeter gutters and directed through the designated outlets.
Designed for changing weather
According to the technical specifications, BS25 pergolas offer wind resistance up to 140 km/h and a snow-load capacity up to 160 kg/m². Safe performance also depends on a suitable foundation, secure anchoring and correct assembly.
Freestanding or wall-mounted?
A freestanding model has its own supporting posts and does not need to be connected to a building. It is suitable for:
- independent placement on a terrace or in a garden;
- pool areas;
- outdoor kitchens and dining spaces;
- larger residential or hospitality areas;
- properties where wall mounting is not possible.
One side is fixed to a suitable load-bearing building structure, while posts support the outer edge. It is suitable for:
- terraces directly beside a house;
- areas in front of sliding or panoramic doors;
- outdoor dining spaces connected to a kitchen;
- terraces where fewer posts are preferred.
A wall-mounted pergola must be anchored to a structurally suitable part of the building. Exterior render or thermal insulation alone cannot support it.
Which size should you choose?
A compact option for a smaller terrace, a garden seating set or a dining table for approximately four people.
A practical size for a family dining area or a comfortable outdoor lounge.
An elongated model for a larger dining table, a combined dining and lounge area or placement beside a pool.
The largest model in the collection provides almost 23 m² of covered space, with room for separate dining and lounge zones.
